The Fifth Week
Week 5 started with something unexpected—stepping in front of the camera instead of behind it! This week was all about collaborations, photoshoots, and deep-diving into the world of Meta ads and Shopify. If last week was about factory visits and seeing socks come to life, this one was about making them look amazing for the world to see.
Lights, Camera, Socks!
We kicked off the week with a visit to Kozasko’s office, a premium shoe brand with an in-office studio. Since we’re collaborating with them, we headed there for a full-fledged socks photoshoot. Why? Because our website is getting a revamp, and that means fresh, high-quality images for every SKU. Plus, our Love Collection—our latest drop—needed its time in the spotlight.
Now, here’s where things took a fun turn—we became the models. Yup, instead of just directing the shoot, we stepped into the frame, strike a pose, flex those socks, repeat. It was equal parts hilarious and exciting. Who knew an internship would also mean adding “sock model” to our resumes?
By the end of the shoot, we had tons of photos to sift through. Once the shots were finalized and transferred, it was time to get to work.
Back to the Desk: Designing & Meta Ads 101
With fresh photos in hand, the next mission was clear:
✅ Create website banners
✅ Making the love collection live on the website
✅ Design social media content
✅ Learn Meta ads
✅ Fulfill the waffle craving
Designing the banners and social media creatives was familiar ground, but the real naya gyaan of the week was learning Meta ads. Understanding how these ads work—targeting, budget allocation, audience insights—was a game-changer. Matlab, ab bas creative hi nahi, ad strategy bhi samajh aa rahi hai!
And let’s not forget Shopify. Since the website revamp is a priority, exploring the platform, figuring out its tools, and understanding how everything connects was another steep but exciting learning curve. The best part? Our Love Collection was officially made live on the website! Seeing the designs we worked on go from concept to reality—and now available for customers—was a moment of pure satisfaction.
This week was a perfect mix of creativity and strategy. From being on set at Kozasko to diving into ad analytics, every day brought something new. And honestly? Yeh internship sirf design ka nahi, pura brand-building ka crash course lag rahi hai. 🚀
On to week six—more ideas, more socks, and hopefully, fewer rejected designs!
