The Ninth Week
This week was similar to last week, about being glued to the screen. No factory visits, no warehouse chaos—just me, my laptop, and a never-ending list of social media posts to create.
The social media calendar was stacked this week. With Holi, Women’s Day, and the Champions Trophy all coming up, I had to churn out creatives back-to-back. And let’s be real—when you’re designing for three different themes, the creative block hits harder than Monday blues.
For Holi, the vibe was obviously rang-biranga—fun, quirky, and full of color splashes. Women’s Day needed a more refined, empowering tone. And for the Champions Trophy, it was all about sporty aesthetics yet fun-filled theme. Balancing all three while maintaining Smoothound’s brand language was definitely a task. But somehow, I managed to get everything done—phew!
While working on social media, I also sent in new design concepts for our upcoming collections. Now, usually, this is a process where you send, wait, get feedback, make changes, and repeat until it’s perfect.
But guess what? This time, the designs got instantly approved. No edits, no back-and-forth, just a straight-up YES. Aisa roz thodi hota hai!
That moment definitely made my week. There’s something really exciting about knowing that the designs you’ve worked on will soon be turned into actual products. Can’t wait to see them come to life!
Golgappa & Sev Puri: The Ultimate Route Discovery
Now, coming to the real highlight of the week—we found the perfect new route home. And not just any route, but one with the most amazing Golgappa and Sev Puri stops.Because let’s be honest—after an entire day of being a desk jockey, there’s nothing better than ending it with crispy Golgappas and spicy Sev Puri. And the best part? No limits. Eat as much as you want, no regrets. This little detour is officially a post-work ritual now. Because what’s the point of working hard if you don’t reward yourself with some chaat goodness?
Not the most adventurous week, but definitely a productive one. Social media was hectic, but getting new designs instantly approved made up for all the stress. And of course, discovering the Golgappa route was the ultimate bonus.
Now, let’s see what next week brings—hopefully, more exciting projects (and more food adventures, obviously!).
