The Seventh Week

Just when I thought things couldn’t get crazier, week seven proved me wrong. From warehouse visits to updating our website with fresh product images, this week was packed with surprises, small wins, rejections, and even a short stint in customer support (yes, really).

We kicked off the week with a visit to our warehouse. The mission? Update the inventory on the website and ensure all SKUs were in check. Now, this might sound like a straightforward task, but when you realize the sheer number of SKUs we have, toh dimaag hil jata hai.

From solids to stripes, from quirky patterns to no-shows—there was so much to sort, update, and organize. What we thought would be a quick job turned into an all-day task. But by the end of it, the inventory was sorted, and we were all set to move on to the next big thing.

Remember the Kozasko shoot from week 5? The one where we played models for our own socks? Well, after all the hard work in week 6—color-correcting, retouching, and making sure the socks looked exactly like they do in real life—it was finally time to update the website with these photos.

Replacing the old images with crisper, well-lit, and on-point colors was such a satisfying process. There’s something oddly rewarding about seeing a before-and-after transformation on the website. Like a mini glow-up!

Plot Twist: Customer Support Mode On

In between all of this, I somehow found myself replying to emails and handling customer queries. Yep, for a short period, I was customer support. Because startups = you do everything. It was a crash course in understanding how customers interact with the brand and what their concerns are.

This unexpected side-quest actually gave me valuable insights into what people love about our socks and what they expect. (Maybe a future design idea brewing?)

By the end of the week, the warehouse was sorted, the website had a fresh new look, and I had experienced the highs and lows of customer interactions. Not to mention, I’m getting better at handling rejections (both in approvals and in life).

Looking forward to what’s next—hopefully, fewer rejections and more approvals next week!
